Which cyc wall studio fits your shoot?
- Studio H (800 sq ft, 14 ft ceilings, up to 15 people). The tallest ceiling of our 55 Meadow St studios, so there's room to light from above for full-length fashion, dance and video. A good fit for smaller crews.
- Studio E (900 sq ft, 12 ft ceilings, up to 20 people). On the ground floor, so racks, cases and props roll straight in. Built for fashion, dance, video and full-length product shoots.
- Studio J (1,200 sq ft, 16 ft ceilings, up to 50 people). Our largest cyc, with a ground-floor garage door at 301 Meserole St. Made for cars, large sets and big productions. It has a 3-hour minimum.
What a cyc wall is good for
A cyclorama (cyc) wall curves into the floor, so there's no corner or horizon line behind your subject. Light the wall separately from your subject and it disappears into clean white: the "infinite background" look used for e-commerce, lookbooks, dance, video and product shots.
Want color instead of white? Every studio has seamless paper backdrops you can use as a background for free. If you need the paper pulled under your feet, add a seamless pull for $15 per color when you book.
Before you book
- Booking times include setup and cleanup, so book enough time to light the wall and reset the studio.
- Each studio's rate includes a set number of people. Larger groups pay a per-hour guest fee, and you see the full price before you pay.
- Weekends are $10/hr more than the weekday rates shown here.
- Need more light? Add an extra Profoto head or a spotlight when you book.
